About Kew Gardens Family EyeCare
Kew Gardens Family Eyecare is an optometrist owned private practice that has been serving the Kew Gardens community for over 30 years. We strive to consistently provide quality eye care to all of our patients. Our optometrists will take the time to explain the results of your eye exam, describe your treatment options, and listen to you. We can diagnose and manage all kinds of eye care conditions such as vision complaints caused by myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism, dry eye, diabetic eye exams and other conditions. Most insurances accepted.

Dr. Jennifer Chin
Optometrist
Meet Dr. Chin, the visionary force behind Kew Gardens Family Eyecare. Having graduated with a Biology degree and a minor in Business from Stony Brook University, she pursued her studies at SUNY Optometry. With a wealth of experience in her field, Dr. Chin has seamlessly transitioned from her previous positions in Plainview, Long Island, and Rye, NY to becoming the proud owner of our practice. Catering to patients aged 5 and above, Dr. Chin brings expertise and passion to every appointment. Beyond her professional endeavors, Dr. Chin's adventurous spirit has taken her across the globe, from the vibrant streets of Spain to the serene landscapes of Hawaii. As a proud mother to a one-year-old daughter, she cherishes every moment of family life.

Tae
Optometric Technician
Meet Tae, our multi-talented technician, and aspiring healthcare professional. Tae joined the team at the beginning of it all, in February of 2022! Balancing her undergraduate studies in science with her part-time role at our practice, Tae thrives on building genuine connections with our patients. Beyond the office, she finds joy in attending concerts, exploring new music, and expressing her creativity through drawing. You can see her drawings around the office.

Meet Gabby, our dedicated optician! Armed with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and currently pursuing her masters in mental health counseling. Gabby is not only passionate about eyecare but also about understanding the nuances of human behavior as she brings a compassionate approach to helping patients find their ideal eyewear. Her keen eye for style and commitment to personalized service ensures that each patient discovers glasses that not only enhance their vision but also reflect their unique personality. While she is not in the office she enjoys spending time with her dog.

Office Assistant Manager
Meet Kiran, our assistant manager, and future optometrist. Kiran joined the team in June of 2022. Currently pursuing her education at Queens College, Kiran's passion for optometry was ignited through her experiences working alongside our esteemed doctors. From handling technical tasks to managing medical billing and optical services, Kiran's dedication shines through. When she's not immersed in her studies or work, you can find her indulging in her favorite pastime: binge-watching How I Met Your Mother on Netflix.
